Did Panda Kill Your Article Marketing Strategy?

Article Marketing Strategy

Article Marketing Is It Dead?

A good Article Marketing Strategy is one of the easiest ways for people who are new to Internet Marketing to get a taste of just what making money online is all about. For a lot of people, it's simply far too boring and far too slow. The fact that there are so many other people doing is means that there are simply too many competitors for many of the keywords or keyphrases that you are going for too. The fact that traffic often stops after you stop writing is a turn off as well, that is, unless you've written something like 500 plus articles, in which case you might be lucky enough to get a constant albeit small flow of visitors to your website every day. Can it still help people make money online?

3 Ways To Boost Your Article Marketing Strategy

1. Stay Away From Article Directories

These sorts of places are predominantly used by newbie Internet Marketers who aren't looking to invest much money into their online business. They are taught that by writing a few articles a day they will eventually have enough visitors that can sustain their website and revenue.
As anyone who's done article or bum marketing for a while now will know, this simply isn't the case. The cost of entry of competitors, i.e. other article marketers, is very low, in fact it's virtually non-existent. Your Article Marketing Strategy should include finding a place where there are fewer people publishing content.

2. Paid Article Directories?

This is the natural conclusion that you're able to draw from my first paragraph, right? I'm implying that there are article directories or at least places that will accept your articles where the only catch is that you have to pay to get in, or that's what you think anyway.
Well, I'm not implying that, I'm stating it outright. You are far better off conducting your Article Marketing Strategy at blogs or communities that service a dedicated pool of readers or users that actually have a person like an editor who allows people to submit content for possible inclusion in their website. Now, you don't have to pay to have your content appear in these sites, you might just have to pay to find all of these sorts of websites in the one place.

3. Directory of Ezines

Google the Directory of Ezines and it will all come together and make sense for you. For a one-time investment, you can get a collection of online newsletters complete with contact information of editors-in-chief and owners of blogs, as well as whether they are or aren't accepting content.

The investment is one-off, but if you write and write a lot, you will find that your workload will drastically decrease while the number of real visitors (and buyers) that you get will increase dramatically. They want content, you want visitors. The DoE has been around for 10 years and isn't looking to go anywhere any time soon.

I have no affiliation with the DOE but am simply helping out any article marketing associates out there. That's where I started off so I know how hard it is to make a living writing these articles every day. Work smart, don't work hard with your Article Marketing Strategy…
