Headway Theme Review

Before the launch of this site i decided that i needed a new WordPress theme, I did allot of research into different premium and custom WordPress themes. In the end i decided that the Headway Theme was the answer for Best-SEO… and here’s the reasons why…

While writing this Headway Theme Review i discovered that it’s the only WordPress theme i have personally used that lets me create exactly the theme I want, without having to learn CSS/HTML or PHP code. For this reason Headway has revolutionized WordPress design. Using Headway, anyone can design original WordPress themes as easily as using the Headway visual editors drag and drop feature. I had a great time messing with the “visual editor”, changing the colors, layout, font, widgets, etc and all this without having to mess around with programming code.

With Headway Theme, for the first time I felt like I had the power to create the look and layout that I want for my WordPress blog without having to hire a pro to do it for me. It was a whole new world for me, as someone who has had a lot of frustration with inflexible WP themes in the past without making much…err… headway.
The support is awesome, there is a great forum where you can get answers to any questions or problems that you may have.

Like with any new product you shoul expect to spend at least an hour to familiarize yourself with the functions and layout editors, but once again it’s easy and does not require a background in programming.
Unlike most themes Headway is SEO optimized, which really helps when you are trying to beat-out your competition for placement and traffic via the search engines. At the time of this post BESTSEO.net was ranked #9 Google #1 Yahoo and #5 in Bing not too shabby.

If Content is King, then Design is Queen, the search engines prefer websites that are easy to crawl and index, with attention to load times (New Google algorithm) proper link structure and internal links.
About the learning curve with Headway, I don’t know if that is really a con, or just a fact of WordPress life. With my other blogs, even when I used paid themes, I have always ended up spending hours tweaking and the results were nowhere near as cool as with Headway.
In conclusion, not only am I recommending the Headway Theme, but I’m recommending it knowing that is a product that delivers on it’s promises.
